Göran Kördel has been appointed CIO for the Boliden Group as of 19 May 2014. Göran holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Management and Engineering from Linköping University. He enjoyed a long career with Ericsson, working initially with business control and the development of their service operations, and subsequently in a range of different IT managerial positions.
In 2008 Göran was appointed President of Sandvik IT Services AB, and in 2011 he was appointed CIO and Vice President of the Sandvik Group. For the past year, Göran has been running his own consultancy firm, Nordwise Management.
