Jan Moström, President Boliden Mines, appointed new CEO of LKAB

Jan Moström, President of Boliden’s Business Area Mines, is leaving the company to become the new President and CEO of LKAB. Jan Moström joined Boliden in 1979 and was General Manager of the Boliden Area, before being appointed President of Boliden Mines in 2005.

“Jan has led Boliden Mines with commitment and extensive expertise for the past ten years – a period during which the company has undergone significant changes. The expansions of Aitik and Garpenberg under Jan’s leadership have created world-class mines and Boliden will continue leveraging on this platform. I would like to thank Jan for his invaluable input during his time with Boliden and to wish him every success in his new role,” says Boliden’s President & CEO, Lennart Evrell.

Jan Moström will be leaving Boliden in mid-September and the process of recruiting his successor has now begun.
