Frans Benson - Boliden's new IR Manager

Frans Benson will be assuming responsibility for Boliden's contacts with the stock market, effective as of 1st April 2009.

Frans Benson joins Boliden from JKL AB, where he works as a Communications consultant and Acting Head of JKL in Stockholm. Positions previously held by Frans Benson include those of Senior Recruiter for Spencer Stuart KB, Communications and HR Manager at Adcore/Connecta AB, and IR Manager at AssiDomän AB.

Boliden is a leading European metals company whose core competence is in the fields of exploration, mining, smelting and recycling. Boliden's main metals are zinc and copper. Other important metals extracted and refined include lead, gold and silver. The operations are conducted in three Business Areas: Market, Smelters and Mines.
