The Controlling and Finance functions within the Boliden Group will be integrated

Jan Öhman, Senior Vice President Group Controlling and Accounting, has been appointed General Manager, Aitik Area, effective January 1, 2005. He will be a member of the management group of the Business Area Mining Operations.

The Boliden Group's controlling and finance functions will be integrated under
Staffan Bennerdt, Senior Vice President Group Finance.

Staffan Bennerdt will hereby also be responsible for group controlling and group accounting as from January 1, 2005, taking over Jan Öhman's responsibilities as Senior Vice President Group Controlling and Accounting. Staffan Bennerdt is already responsible for financial matters, loan agreements and Treasury.
