Boliden publishes its Annual and GRI Reports for 2016

Boliden’s Annual and GRI Reports for 2016 are now available from www.boliden.com.

The 2016 Annual Report highlights the importance of technological development to Boliden’s current and future competitiveness. The Sustainability Report, which is an integral part of the Annual Report, describes Boliden’s role and responsibility in a circular economy.

A GRI Report in accordance with the GRI G4 guidelines, and which provides a detailed description of Boliden’s sustainability work, is also available from www.boliden.com.

The printed version of the Annual Report will be available from 23 March and will be distributed to those shareholders who have requested it.

In connection with a new pushback in Aitik, production challenges have arisen as a result of high deposits of the very hard rock type diorite. The occurrences create challenges and mean that the production rate for the first quarter is estimated to be just over 9 Mtonnes. For the full year 2025, production is estimated at close to 40 Mtonnes. The copper grade is estimated at 0.16%, which is in line with what was previously communicated.
